Bearding line confusion

New ship builder here & I have a question about bearding the false keel at the stern of my Occre La Candelaria. Uwek sent me an excellent link titled "Simple Hull Planking Techniques" explaining the importance of the bearding line & how it helps keep the planks flat against the false keel (snap shot below).
In my assembly instructions no where does it mention using a bearding line or beveling the false keel. In this case would it really be necessary or to my advantage to bevel the false keel at the stern? I'm thinking that "bearding" the false keel at the stern, the thicker first planking layer would then lay flush up against the rudder mount. Isn't that another reason for bearding?
Then again why not have that procedure in the instructions? Paint me confused.
Also a photo of my ship & a snap shot photo from my instructions. IMG_6101.jpgIMG_6099.jpgIMG_6098.jpg
