Hi all

I haven heard/read a lot about using black glue (PVA mixed with graphite) to simulate caulking, but I was not able to find a log with details on how to prepare and use it.

If you have used it, can you please describe your recipe(s) and most important "how you used it " to have a clean black line between 2 planks and not a mess of black glue all around.

Thank you !!!!
Daniel

Daniel,
I do this method all the time and its simple. I mix graphite and white wood glue together to make a black paste then smear it on the section to be glued.
I usually leave the squeeze out until dry then sandpaper it off.

Bryian, after you sand all the glue that went over the wood (squeeze out), do you have trouble with the wood stain ? Will you have spots due to the glue ?
