My Bluejacket kit arrived yesterday.

The Lobster boat specifications

Scale: 5/8” = 1’, Length OA = 21 1/2”, Beam = 7 1/2”

The kit contains all materials for planking, deck and rudder, cast Britannia metal fittings, laser cut parts and is plank on bulkhead construction.

The kit was packed extremely well for shipment.

The only drawback I noticed are the instructions pamphlet. The photos of the various build stages are shaded, not very clear and somewhat fuzzy.

The laser cut parts are cut clean and do not have much char.

The Britannia castings are finely detailed, they can be blackened or left as is to simulate Stainless Steel.

I also purchased the paint kit that was recommended for this kit. I’ve not decided if it will be used since I prefer Acrylics.
