Bluenose II, Lunenburg Nova Scotia

Took the Admiral to Lunenburg for her bday. We visited the Bluenose down on the wharf, spoke with some of the crew but because of covid could not go aboard. Still managed a few pics which may be helpful to some.

Hi Robin. Searching the net and the SoS for information about the mast hoops on the Bluenose, I found this pictures of yours. You made some pictures of details which are very helpful for me. Although it’s from the BN-II, some details are presumably the same from the original. Jenson in The Sage and Eisnor shows them in there drawing, but very tiny. Now I have new ideas. Also from your model.
I hope to make a trip to Lunenburg and visit the BN-II ones ……..
