I am currently working on the Bluenose model by Model Shipways. Both the instructions and the plans show that there are two pieces of
wood that are located at the stern of the hull to either side of the transom. However, I cannot make heads or tails of how the fashion pieces are to be made or how and where they are to be attached.
I am reaching out to members of the forum who have done the Bluenose for assistance and advice. I know that several people who
have done the Bluenose have simply ignored the fashion pieces, but I would at least like to see how they are to be installed and then
determine if I want to put them on or not. If you have pictures of the fashion pieces on the model, that would be really appreciated.
As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words - or more.
Thanks, in advance.
