Here's how I rounded the square blocks:

I needed to replicate these plates on the single trees:


So I used my cutting machine to to cut out the shapes on a very thin brass sheet:

I also needed to replicate these details on the end:

On to the double tree:
Here I'm trying to replicate this top plate.


Didn't quite get the same shape.

Here I try to replicate this bracket which holds the single tree to the double tree on the front and a chain to the front axle on the back.


I start with this thick brass wire:


Then I flatten, file and bend it to the shape I want:


Here's a dry fit onto the end of the double tree:


Here's the single tree attached to the double tree with the bracket.
