Build Log - What It Is and What Are the Rules

I have never created a Build Log so I'm asking what are build logs and are there any specific rules (Dos and do nots) here in SOS? Thanks for putting up with my questions.

There are NO rules as a matter-of-fact SoS has very few rules in general, This is why you will find sometimes extreme options.

Now a build log is documenting you progress on building a model it could be anything. Pictures are always a good addition as well as how you personally approach a problem. Also if you do run into a road block and not sure how to proceed ask how other solved the problem.
You do not have to be an advanced model builder to do a build log, many great tips have come from beginners or a wow moment of i never thought of that..

Thanks for the reply and explanation. I'm at mid build the hull of my Golden Hind and I may start my build log from there with a brief explanation of how I got to that point and continue on from there.

yes you can start a log at any point along a build
