Just curious if there’s any recent news on Byrnes Model Machines table saws, I.E., will machines remain the same quality and form?

Maybe call Donna and ask if whoever is building these now apprenticed under Jim. Going back years when I met him at his place he was on his own but I have no idea if he had hired anyone to help him as the business grew from a part time job to a full time gig.

This thickness sander I got a couple of days ago form them is pretty damn nice.

I can't imagine they wouldn't. I believe they may have outsourced the CNC high-tolerance production of various parts and then assembled them in-house.

I just ordered the thickness planer and will let you know of its quality. I don’t expect it won’t meet previous standards. I talked to Donna when I ordered it and I gathered most work was done by a previous employee.

I've been to the website and I can't find anything other than accessories or replacement parts for sale? Can the mini table saw be bought?

Yep, after I posted this question I saw that thread with posts regarding calling Donna. Thankyou! Turns out I've found some instructional videos demonstrating how to use my bandsaw (Rikon benchtop) 1/16" "veneers". I think I can forego another machine although that Byrnes sure looks sweet!
