Hello everyone,I have got this little gundeck kit from Mantua two years ago, this will be a short build log nothing special,here are the kit parts.

Thank you John for stopping by,yes the kit acctually good quality,although is from Mantua,I guess because its a simple kit.
 
Is that Walnut timber Zoly ? Are you painting or varnishing the cannon carriage ?

I reckon you will scratch build some of this to improve it.

Hello Brian ,thanks for stopping by,Yes the wood is walnut and I will varnish it,no way I would put paint on .
 
A nice kit you have here.... very good for in between. Good to here that you are not painting it.....
The rigging is only for keeping the barrel fixed to the base, but represent not a real realistic rigging.
I will follow your log with interest.....
