Just about everyone hates the carbon black on edges but what I would like to know is the best way to deal with it. I see one post recommending a fine file as better than abrasive paper..? what do people find works best..? Is there a chemical cleaning approach that would work without damaging the wood..? I guess not.So what is the answer from anyone who reckons they have it beaten....file, 300 grit,. 600 grit..???
