Szkutnik Carved Ship Decorations - made by SZKUTNIK

Ahoy!

@Uwek ask........And? did you make an agreement with Szkutnik?

USS Constitution - works in progress.

Hello, I would be interested in carvings on St. Philip, but in scale 1/48, so in royal scale, according to the drawing, published book and plan, it would be possible, thank you Lojza

No, I was talking about something else. Very poor fit, large gaps

The plank is not curved enough, because of this, the lion did not sit down in place and the knees stick out

This remark is not only disparaging but above all irrelevant. The subject of this post is the making of figurines by various techniques and not the quality of the model on which they will be installed.
On this point, we can only congratulate Szkutnik.

Hallo @alois vasicek
we wish you all the BEST and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Birthday-Cake
Did you finaly get the carvings for your Saint Philippe ?
Maybe you can show us your model and / or the carvings ?

Damn! I wish I could do anything approaching such exquisite rendering using traditional modeling and/or carving techniques.
It Can be done. Hanging around the USNA Museum for a few years afforded me some humbling and challenging examples. (As has being on the SOS forum.)

Pete
