Got the steel keel fixed today. It cost 300, - kr.
New weight is 9.3 kg
And oak materials were also finished. dimension:
12, 10 and 6 mm to the frames. IT cost 800,- kr
will start by shaping the underside of the keel tomorrow

I was lucky enough to stay with someone in the family today. Used 5 angle grinder blades 125 mm
had to buy with a small plane grinder also to smooth out the balls that you get with only angle grinder. Unfortunately, the motor on the plane grinder is a little too small, so I have to be patient. will continue to cut on the steel keel tomorrow

We can see, that you used safety cloths / gloves for your hands....
But what did you do for the safety of your bare feet?

then I made a sledge in which the metal keel was placed. it helps when drilling holes for M4 mm bolts. it went with 12 pcs. I also finished the template on top so I have something to cut the keel after. also had to notice the underside since it is narrower there

has left a bit. so now the keel weighs 5.1 kg.
have some finishing touches to make it look the same on both sides. I've noticed how many mm I have to grind down. must also make a notch on the end of the keel. I don't think more will be done before January 2, 2020

today was that I got the milling of slots for frames and preparation of the stem to cut it out tomorrow in 12 mm oak
unfortunately burned I a Dremel 4000, during milling of the tracks to the ribs, so I had to use a real router. bought a new Dremel today on offer.

Then the bottom was cut and ground. Now it is waiting for me to mill tracks for exterior cladding.
The parts for the fore and aft of the stem have been cut out on a band saw and refurbished. now I'll glue them together
