THIS COLLECTION OF TOOLS HAVE NOW FOUND A NEW HOME THANKS TO SHIPS OF SCALE. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO EXPRESSED INTEREST AND PROVIDED KIND WORDS AS WELL. I DON'T SEE HOW TO DELETE THIS POST SO PERHAPS ADMINISTRATORS CAN HELP WITH THAT.

My brother-in-law died last year and left an impressive collection of specialized tools for building models of wooden boats. They are near Sacramento, so not far from LA. Our goal is for them to go to someone who would use and appreciate them, so we only want the cost of shipping covered. We could mail the chest (pictured) and extra tools not in the chest. Or, to keep costs down we could put tools in baggies and label them. That would lower shipping costs. Pictures are of boats he built and the chest of tools.
