Oh, by the way I know I made a mistake on the name plate. I am dumb founded about it.
Thank you so much for your compliment. Yes, The Niagara was my fifth ship and now I am going to start The Prince De Neufchatel. I am running out of room though. I will be my winter project.

Lovely work matey. Lovely.

Thank you everyone for your compliments. Jack your ship is looking great too. I hope you post the completed pictures when you are finished.
Jimbo, I do build my own cases, I save a lot of money doing them myself. I purchased the plans on the internet. I have a local glass company install the glass. Actually, one of the difficult tasks is putting the ship in the case without damaging it. It takes two people to do it.

Thank you, Roger. I tried to keep it as the instructions indicated with only a few changes of my own. It is a really nice ship, and I enjoyed building her.
I noticed that you are building the USS Brig Syren. I have built that ship too and she is a favorite model of my fleet. The instruction booklet that came with it was very good. I did all the Stay sail rigging om my model, which added more detail. I hope you enjoy building it. I do have pictures on here, I think.

Hi Jim,

Yes, I am presently building the Syren, which I am thoroughly enjoying. I remember looking at your fine model of her back in April last year. I also agree the manual for the Syren is very well done. It keeps close to the designed model kit build but also allows for enhancements if the modeller desires, as you have done.

The schooner Prince De Neufchatel looks like a fine choice for your next build. I did a little reading and see has a very interesting history as a privateer with fine lines. If you decide to do a build log on this site I’ll certainly be following your progress.
