Confederacy 1776 (Maple Timberset by Lumberyard)

Hallo everybody,

This model of the USS Confederacy in style of an admiralty models and is was built in 5 Years. The guns and fittings are handmade of brass, the frames are maple wood, the planks are Swiss pear, cherry and ebony wood. The steering wheel is fully operating. If you turn it, the rudder is moved accordingly.
The ship model is 1 : 64 scale. Length is 92 cm, width 17 cm, height 23 cm.

Dave’s timbering set provides laser cut blanks for the decorative carvings if I recall correctly. Do you have any photos of your finishing carving process?
 
This is definitely a bucket list ship for me to build. Bad thing is every one of them are the admirty kits. No one produces a fully rigged kit.
