I was just wondering if anyone has used weldbond to glue the copper plates to the wood hull. The adhesive on the back of the copper plates is not very strong.

Weldbond is a versatile PVA-based adhesive, and while it does bond metal to porous surfaces like wood, it is not ideal for attaching copper plates to a wood hull, especially for model shipbuilding, where long-term durability and resistance to humidity or temperature changes matter.I was just wondering if anyone has used weldbond to glue the copper plates to the wood hull.
