Hi all.
I've recently purchased a cordless Dremel type tool from Amazon and they've sent me 2 of them. I contacted Amazon and they said not to return the extra one and to "skip it".

So I thought I'd sell one of them at half price (then 2 of us get a half price tool). It's not been unwrapped and still in original packaging. It's made by Vonhaus so not Chinese rubbish. In fact it's quite impressive with plenty of power and plenty of accessories. It cost me £33 so half price it's £16.50 plus postage (not sure how much that will be right now). And it comes in a nice hard case.

You can find it on Amazon here.

I somehow finished up with 2 of these... pure junk.

There are plenty of battery powered cordless rotary tools out there that are junk. The Dremel brand isn't one of them. For a cordless, it has enough torque to drill and sand for a long time. If I need more torque, or don't need to work a tight corner, I reach for the Dremel that has a cord.

There are many like it, but this one is mine...

Are you saying this make of tool is junk or are you my statement is junk?
I'm saying the 2 I have aren't impressive.
No aspersions upon you personally.

The issue was they wouldn't re-charge properly and quickly expired.
Hopefully yours are better quality.

Thank you for clarifying. TBH I found the tool to be quite powerful but as I've only had it a couple of days I can't make a long term assessment. I posted it for sale because I thought it may be useful for anyone who wanted to try this type of tool without paying a fortune.

These tools are my main work tools. The top one which is cordless, one speed is rubbish & I don't use it any more. The botom one which has a chord & is variable speed is brilliant. Both Chinese & cheap

Folks, please understand that this thread isn’t intended for discussion or evaluation of rotary tools. It’s simply a for-sale listing/advertisement, and keeping replies limited to purchase-related questions will help keep things clear and tidy. Thanks for your understanding.

To the seller. There are many people out there who just procrastinate. I’m with you all the way. Your advertisement is quite clear. Ignore the idiots. Good luck. I think it is a gear idea. Happy new year

You'll find that all Vonhaus stuff is made in China.

This is the best cordless rotary tool, the Dremel Stylus. Unfortunately Dremel stopped making. Never could understand why. Luckily I have two of them. 1769904279902.jpeg

I have the same engraver as below, I put a cheap three-chamber cartridge on it, so it became much more convenient to work.

So is Dremel except for a few Mexican parts
what's good about Dremel is that it's owned by Bosch which means a certain level of quality is implied
Yup, I once owned one, but the motor burned out quite quickly & Bosch took it back & sent me a new kit. I eventually sold it as the switch was awkward for me. I replaced it with a Proxxon.
