Looking for advice for where to purchase a pin drill chuck that can be used with a drill press. I can never seem to drill holes square into masts with my manual pin vise.

try a site called " WISH" . its a chinese factory direct site. has all the micro bits, pin vises, ect. . Its where the north american sellers get all their stock from anyway, and the prices are reasonable even with shipping.

For drilling masts and other round stock I have seen drilling aid which was V shaped base to help hole round material for drilling and cutting. Helps keep it from slipping under pressure of drill bit when trying to drill free hand.
