I love populating my models with at scale figures. It adds life and a sense of realism. The first time was with figures at 1/64 for Revenge, which I liked and enjoyed painting.

When I saw Drydock advertised that they released various scale figures in a pack of 19... I just could not refrain from ordering a set in 1/72 and 1/96 scale. After great anticipation, I received my parcel a 1 hour ago.

My first impression was... what is that! Is that it? What a disappointment... maybe my expectations were too high but frankly at those scales it is a hard sell. The size is just too small and lack resolution/definition at 1/96. The 1/72 barely pass the bar. Drydock is a reputable distributer and is not at fault, but the person/company making those should reconsider selling at those scales. They will just create disappointment. I just feel I was ripped off at the current price point (I may be a little harsh here - disappointment speaking?).

I would recommend avoiding... at least at those scales.

First time I get 3D printed... usually buying casted. Maybe it is my expectations... but I'm usually generous and realistic. BTW the pictures are taking very close.

of course... here it is.
