Getting ready to start the Dumas PT-109 33 inch boat kit and want to make it an RC controlled boat. Reading the plans, the running gear calls for a single shaft, but I want to make it a 3 shaft driven boat with 3 rudders as the original is. I was looking for help on what size motors to use (also, brushed or brushless). I have built and run RC planes and helicopters in the past but this is new to me. I have got the Dumas running gear kits but am going to change the props to brass 3 blade as per the original boat instead of using the 2 blade plastic that came in the kits. Any help/suggestions would be helpful.
