Just about got this ship finished, approx. 200 hours over seven months, for me not the easiest of builds with a lot of confusion over scale. Anyway, thanks to being persuaded by Uwe that the Robert Dodd's paintings probably are a fare representation of L' Amazone I decided to name this ship as such. This is my third build and the first with more than one mast. The little yawl shown is built from a VM kit and rigged Copland fashion. Sorry about the quality of the pics. I only have a cheap phone from the Orient.

If you can build L'Amazone, you can do a few improvisations and build a more complex ship... with SAILS. I can see you have the patience and your build looks clean, no mean feat. Build what inspires you, and if you get out of your own way, you will amaze yourself! Plus, the rest of us on the forum get to watch and learn a few tricks along the way as you overcome some obstacles in ways we've never thought of before.
