Stavbu som začal v druhej polovici februáraZaujímavý projekt - a veľmi rýchly
This is still fast !Stavbu som začal v druhej polovici februára
I started construction in the second half of February
Veľmi zaujímavé a poučné. Napriek tomu by som rád videl viac z celého procesu plánovania.
Je úplne nádherná!
Skús google translate English - SlovakThanks. I don't as yet know how to get your message translated to English. I love the detailed pictures very impressive and helpful. thanks for posting them!
I will try to get a clear answer (I do not speak English), so it will also depend on google translator :I did the cladding of the boat above the draft exactly according to the instructions AL: https://artesanialatina.net/en/old-...-ship-kit-endeavour-assembly-guide-22516.html , it is quite difficult, because the moldings also need to be bent in the vertical plane. I also lined the part under the blue paint with a second layer, moldings 0.5 mm.The hull of the ship below the waterline (i.e. also under the black trim) according to the original AL instructions should be painted white on a polished base layer of cladding. I opted for a second cladding with moldings 0.5 x 5 mm (mahogany). These skirting boards can be bought in a model store, the online store supplies them in a length of 50 cm.When tiling, I do not make a great science out of it, nothing special, no measurement and recalculation... The foundation is to start gradually from the bow so that both sides are mirror-identical, glue the moldings on the sides so that they naturally follow the shape of the hull without deforming them, possibly with a minimum of bending in the vertical plane... And gradually document the gaps with an emphasis on accurate shortening and trimming of moldings. After sanding and varnishing, the result is quite satisfactory.Thanks. Good morning Johnny. Awesome work. I will pull up a chair and watch the rest of this build for sure.
