Wood ship model Fair American
This is a complete Model Shipways kit to build a 1:48 model of an American revolutionary war brig from 1778. This is a good quality kit with laser cut parts, brass cannons and lots of other detailing. The finished model is 26 ins long and 22 ins. High. Building instructions are particularly detailed with two separate books and several sheets of drawings. The kit has been only just started, the centre keel and some bulkheads have been removed from the laser cut sheets, the keel rebates have been carefully cut and a replacement mahogany hardwood stem and keel have been glued on.
