Hi!
it's my first build, and I managed to do first layer of planking - some sanding and when second one
questions is how to make nose point in correct way? do it as V or put one plank on top of the other?
first layer will be sanded and all imperfections will not be visible, but second one looks challenging to me :(

I used simple wood clue form DIY shop, should I use it for second layer too? of better to just fast drying glue like super glue?

I'm planning to use acrylic paints - should I use primer? and varnish? it's racing yacht should be glossy finish I presume

thank you for helping!

so far so good - started slow from bottom up

adding extra strips, not to bend to much planks

have a great tip from local guys - adding some glue to gaps between the gaps and sanding it over with soft sand paper - dust fills the gap and it looks great

few more days and will finish the second layer of hull planking - then will have some decisions to make how to mask/paint
