My Panart cross-section been a very enjoyable project.

Much learnt from these forums, so credit and thanks go to SOS members. I made plenty of mistakes working around the vagaries of Panart's supplied materials, contradictory instructions, plans and photos, but also lots learnt a lot. I decided early on that I would attempt a minimalist 'clean 'approach and am generally pleased with the results.

Obtained rope from Ropes of Scale, but everything else was kit provided.

Next project (already working on it'), is the Miniature Arts 'Le Fleuron' 1:48 boxwood cross-section. Will post when completed. Haven't quite got the courage for a build log, but I'm working towards it.

Wow, Richard! You nailed that one! Beautiful. I admit to having never seen gun carriages in lime green (my VERY limited experience) so I’m curious if you had a particular reference for that. Either way, though, I like it because it really shows off the fine work you’ve done on those battle stations.

Thanks. I see your point. I have various LED, fluorescent lights in the room and I think the camera has distorted the colour. They are painted with Occre's yellow.
