I have had similar frustrations with Billings instructions and plans…in my opinion they are on the more difficult end of the kit spectrum. Billings assumes a lot of base knowledge from the modeler. You did a fine job sorting it out…well done!
Now why doesn't your getting 'lost' with the plans, surprise me, as I experience the same with Billings Bounty? I won't touch another of their kits, they don't have enough info. in the 'sketch' plans.
I'm not at all surprised you 'got lost' with plans, seeing it's a Billings kit! Excellent job,none the less.
I'll take that as 'pre-warned', I have Panart's 'big' Victory kit on the shelf!
