Looks like you have some burns on the inside of the bow planks. Is that from your plank bender?

Actually, I don't have a plank bender. I used a soldering iron. That area will be covered by a deck above, a slat deck running the length of the boat, and ballast.
 
Later I found that soaking the frames for a day and bending them with my finger worked better with no scorching and no breaking of frames.
Great observation, Vic, also if you want to avoid waiting for a day, you can put the material under HOT water and try bending with your fingers little by little. Yet another method is a steam box.

Good morning Vic. You are making some serious progress here. The month’s challenge with your twist and turning planks has certainly paid dividends. You owned it.
I placed the frames a little closer together in the middle because it needs more support there to keep from imploding. View attachment 356621
