Giveaway in Santa Fe

Ahoy fellow modelers...I am Bill Stine and live in Santa Fe NM. I am extremely in need of HELP because I just can't destroy a beautiful, 49 inch RC model of the Epplenton Hall. I am moving to Rhode Island in just a few days and can not take it with me.

I received it 20 years ago from a friend in Northern California who did not know its source. I had planned to restore it and convert it to steam but never found the time away from my profession of teaching and research on solar energy systems.

I just noticed that sos has a new member from Santa Fe (Schiffsmodellbaur ) but don't know how to contact him, or anyone else who can help me find a place to give this beautiful model away (free), which needs some serious restoration and a loving port! I don't have the resources to pay for boxing and shipping and it must be within a few days...............ANY IDEAS OF HOW TO HELP ME?

Bill,
I recommend editing out your personal info from your post and instead requesting a personal message (PM) from anyone interested. Plenty of bad actors in the World Wide Wasteland looking to harvest info the can use for nefarious purposes.

I lived in Clovis for three years loved SF and Ruidoso. Whereabouts in RI are you headed? We left Middletown two and a half years ago and do miss it quite a bit.
