Hello all. A guy new to model ship building here. Looking forward to learning a lot, and honing my skills.
Currently starting an Artesania Harvey 1847 that I bought in Spain 33 years ago while on a Med Cruise courtesy of Uncle Sam. Yep, I've been carrying it around for that long - but it's still all there in the original box.
Reading of other's tales on this particular model so I can minimize mistakes, and ensure success.
I welcome thoughts, suggestions, and recommendations.

Welcome aboard SOS, Dan. We are here to help. I would suggest (not obligated at all) starting a build log, as you mentioned above a tale. of your Harvey. This way the help will come more efficiently, and you will have a chance to post questions right into your log.

Hi Dan, Welcome to the group ! I'm sure you will get a lot of information from this group. That's pretty impressive to be carrying a kit around that long and keep it intact! I love the story and the fact that you purchased it that long ago and kept such care of it shows a very deep appreciation for the hobby. I'm excited to see pictures of the build as you progress !
