Time to start on my latest build this one is not for the faint hearted.
First up will be the first third of the bulkheads and keel I will be adding extras I will explain as the build progress's.
First up is keel section witch has to be cut in half in order to add the mid section former.

Many thanks for starting this interesting building log - I will follow with big interest to see the SCHLACHTSCHIFF growing

This will be great to follow. Always wondered what it was like to build a card kit. I'm in the process of building the 1/200 Trumpeter Bismarck. It's taken me a long time and is my first model kit since I was a kid. I have to get it done as I have the Arizona and Missouri to build also and the new USS Yorktown carrier is arriving this week.

You might want share that build in a build log?

I had forgotten to add that I will be adding some reinforcement between the bulkheads in order to avoid what has happened to my previous and abandoned aircraft carrier build witch is also the same type of card kit.View attachment 83204View attachment 83205
Many thanks for showing us your mistake you made in the previous built - we learn every day - or with every model

I have finished off the reinforcement between the bulkheads and finished off the cladding.
I did give it a respray but I showed up the glue marks so after a coat of darker hull red and then back to the original colour and it seems to have sorted it out.20190322_134448.jpg20190322_134504.jpg20190322_134516.jpg20190324_150620.jpg20190324_150626.jpg20190324_172921.jpg20190324_180140.jpg20190324_180133.jpg
