Grants Xebec 1:60 (using Jabeque Cazador Occre1:60 kit)

Good afternoon. Rigging by the foremast has become insane! It has taken me hours to do the 4 reef lines.

These are simple and run down to the 4 belay pins by the masts. The issue is I can hardly get any form of tweezer into the space without messing up my previous work- a swear barrel is full…. ROTF

It’s getting dark in mornings now so pics under lights. Now to finish up the sheets on the fore sail….
Cheers Grant
To miss quote Chief Brody; 'Your gonna need a bigger barrel!' Cheers JJ..

That's a lot of fiddling on some square centimeters, Grant. Thumbs up! You can use that filled swear barrels as cargo in your Xebec.

I could not get the line onto the bulkwark support right down in the crazy part so I attached it via hook and ring to mast bracket :

I see the problem...you are repeating the same swear words over and over. Progress can only be made with innovative and fresh profanity. Try it!
Ha ha Paul- Never in my life have I attached innovation and progress to additional profanity….I will have to add to my 3 commonly used as illustrated in my barrel.ROTF
P.S. way to explicit for this forumROTF.
what do the symbols on the barrel mean? lol
Hi Jack if I had to tell you I would be banned from SOS..ROTF
Well I'll tell you what, if you filled a barrel doing four lines, with your experience I will need at least two for every line when I start!
Thank you- yep I certainly had a barrel of disagreement with my Xebec tying off these lines.
Looks like you may need to get another barrel.ROTF Or get a set of Edward Tweezer handsROTFROTF. Your doing fine my friend.
Hello Daniel. Your reference to Edward Scissor hand….I like it…Edward Tweezer hand…must get someROTF. I will give Johnny Depp a shout.
It looks a real stunner Grant, nothing like a good charity swearbox
Thank you Michael and true story- I think all of us has a swearbox, barrel, bucket…..
To miss quote Chief Brody; 'Your gonna need a bigger barrel!' Cheers JJ..

Good morning Peter. Thanks you. My main frustration was that to get the lines I kept scratching my deck and wood fittings- made me fill that barrel.
Fantastic Grant! Your work always impresses!
Good morning Paul. Thank you very much. Coming to the end of this journey, just need to make some flags (no idea) and a stand and case (no idea). I still have not made my case for my Victory…. My excuse is waiting on my Mom to finish her painting .
That is super work. Those are great photos. I love to see all the little bitty hard to reach knot tying. Paul gave me an idea for a new ship vocabulary word. He said, "Nautical" which I interpreted as "Knotical".:D

Jan
Good Morning Jan. Thank you Kindly. Yep I feel very Knotical right now….I like that word for rigging…
Cheers Grant
