After spending several months building the Cazador xebec, I decided to try something a little easier for my grand daughter. This kit has quality wood and direct easy to follor directions and drawings. The planking is walnut and quite thick. I found it easier to carve than to sand. I used a lot of instant adhesive on this model...more than I like to use. The deck railing and supports would be some what more tedious using a slower setting glue.
