Fellow SOS members, im so glad i found this website.
A "Beginner" here. Im Daniel Rubio, from Chile. Im an architect, so i have some experience in small models, materials, etc.
Love boating, woodworking, old ships and history.
My dad, and specially my grandad were very experienced modellers. My "tata", has some models showed permanently at the Museo Marítimo Nacional, in Valparaíso. My childhood was wahtching these guys doing models, looking smallest things ive ever saw at his workshop, and enjoying the museum.
After doing a lot of building models, now im going to start whit a cheap Aliexpress kit to get used to the nautic building lenguage. After that, ive got in my shelf a Bluenose II kit, from Artesanía Latina.
