Dear All,
my name is Rodolfo.
I am a sixty-five year-old-man with sixty years spent with model railroading. Over a year ago I decided to try a second model ship after the Golden Star built when I was a boy.
I chose the Spanish Medieval Cocca "AMATI" because it's unusual, seemed easy (in appearance) and had no elaborate decorations: only wood and ropes.
Reviewing the documentation, I made many changes to the original design in order to make it more historically faithful, as much as possible. Really, the documentation regarding medieval ships is very poor. Unfortunately, I can not draw up a WIP as I have already arrived at the yard, but I will be able to provide photos of the progress of work and more relevant modifications. I hope they can be useful to those who will undertake the same or similar construction in the future. That's the ship today:
Thanks for the welcome and a greeting to all the enthusiast builders.
Rodolfo
