Left Reno Nevada in February 2020 leaving a 2 ships behind behind: USS Hatfield DD 231 1/48, USS Berkeley DDG15 1/96, both scratch built and 90% done. We have the Rattlesnake [kit] at 75% and 1650's Prins Willim [scratch] at 50% that need completion. We stop for long periods so I do get to spend time on them. Love retirement.

Built plastic models as a youngster but primarily wood since I took the hobby up again some years ago.

From the road, thank you.

Welcome aboard SOS, Rocky M! Would it be possible to see your models here on our forum? We'd love to see built models and models in progress. We are a curious bunch, here! ;) Have fun!

The two larger that were left behind bc they did not fit in the RV. USS Berkeley [my ship] and USS Hatfield [dad's ship]. 1/96 and 1/48 respectively. Each abt 90% complete. Not museum quality like some here but I keep trying.

Prins Willim, from scratch, was and is my experimental test bed. She is a double POB from plans. I developed new techniques using her as a guinea pig. I'll post photos later, but as my dearly departed master model maker and best friend said, "this was folk art". Lol. So true.
