I pulled my old project down from the rafters. I bought it from a friend in ‘90, he got it in the seventies. I started the build many years ago. It’s the Dumas Kit, Shelly Foss.

Dumas had several very interesting classic tug boats in the program in the past.

The Shelly Foss was one of them

Memories .......

I wish you success and a lot of fun with your classic kit

Hope to see your build in a building log....

I've always had a liking for the SF. Back in the 80's there was a 45" fiberglass hull version. Also around that time therr was an article in R/C modeler of this 45" version super detailed. The model was fabulous. I hope I can find that article again. Good luck. Looking forward to seeing this build.
