Thanks much Holger. Along with a good kit and excellent customer service from Model Dockyard, David Antscherl's book was a big inspiration for this model. I was able to pull in some of his additional details and buillding techniques. I learned a lot; my first fully framed model.

Also, David Antscherl's book is helpful and interesting; it allowed me to improve the build and learn an extra thing or two along the way. Although at $70 +ship+tax, it's a decent percentage of what you are paying for the kit. Just in case you are interested, not necessary to make a great model.
