Hello again Shipmates!!
Just giving you guys an update about what my decision. I won´t be doing the Golden Hind. Not the Airfix plastic model or even the wood model of the this ship.
After some time researching and many many hours watching step by step wood modeling on YouTube, I will have a go on an OcCre ship model. My decision ...the Spanish Frigate Nuestra Senora de las Mercedes. Will however wait till the end of our summer here...not modeling-friendly belive me guys.
I know the rigging will be quite daring but if I have to do one, it will have to be the one you love (like a lot of things in life).
By September I will start it and wait on you guys opinion.
Somehow related, here is an Acrylic painting that I have painted from a small foto on a book I have, that represents a battle between Portuguese and Arabic Forces in the Mediterranean sea . Hope you like it.
