Hello Everyone !
I currently live in the Denver area of Colorado, originally from the Tampa area of Florida.
I've been building models for as long as I can remember. Started with plastics and model rockets when I was a kid.
Started working with wood back in my 30's (I'm 65 now) and probably a wooden ship model back in my 40's (which never got completed because someone wanted to buy it after I completed the second planking on the Constellation from AL) .
Currently I'm working on the Mantua Battle station. I gave this kit to my father about 30 years ago and he just barely started it. He passed about 9 years ago, so I've decided I will complete it for him. Don't get to work in it much because I'm still employed full time in a position that doesn't allow me much free time to work on it, but it is what is on my workbench currently. I also just received the Occre kit of the Endavour which sits under the tree currently. It's a long way off though because I probably have about a dozen ship kits in front of it.
Cheers and following winds !
Jeff
