Hello everyone. I’ve been building models for decades now. I build mostly airplanes, armor and the occasional car. I did build some sailing ships back when I was in high school, and now I want to try my hand at it again.

I acquired the 1/75 Heller Nina. I built the hull and the masts – those went together easily enough. I started the rigging, took a look at it, and thought it looked terrible. I don't remember this being so difficult. So, I’m sure I’ll have some questions on rigging and rigging materials.

I’ll be building plastic kits of sailing vessels. Right now, I’m not planning on getting any wooden ship kits.

Cheers!
Jimmy
