I’m back building model ships after a 10 year hiatus. I had an Academy 1/350 scale model of HMS Warspite sitting on my bench during that decade, gathering dust (that’s another story) and I bought the Pontos detail set that included a wooden deck. It’s my first ever experience with PE, a learning experience of the highest order. Warspite isn’t my best project and I’ve got about 5% left to go, but, I’m thrilled to be able to get back to a hobby that I’ve enjoyed for decades.
