I stumbled on this forum while surfing the internet. I am retired and working on my bucket list. I always wanted to build a model ship very detailed. I was an engineer for a CNC machine tool manufacturer, am a master machinist and tool and die maker. My hobby was woodworking for many years, so my time left is devoted to fulfilling my dreams. I built the Corel model Golden Hind to get my feet wet , so to speak. I have ordered the HMS Victory by Billings Boats in the 1:75 scale.

Hello, Mark. We are excited for you and know you will love it here just as much as we do! So welcome aboard SOS! for a while, without too much modesty, we would like to see your model of Golden Hind, :) if you yourself do not mind, But most important, we would love to see the construction of your upcoming HMS Victory kit. We suggest our members start a building log. This is a great way to get help (if you would ever need it) and the possibility to learn from your skils ;)
