Hi all, my name is James! I'm an American at school in England. I've built some plastic models of cars and aircraft 10+ years ago with my dad, so it's been a while. If I get the chance to move to a bigger flat this next year I'd like to try building some ship models, but in the meantime I've been trying some to-scale builds in Minecraft (much less satisfying, but much more space efficient!). Glad to be here, and excited to see what everyone's building.

Welcome to the UK and to the forums James. Not sure where in UK you are but you have Mary Rose, HMS Victory , HMS Trincomalee and HMS Warrior as great examples of Tudor, Georgian and Victorian ships to visit fir inspiration.
