Hello from upstate NY

Hello all,
I've been working on a lot of different modeling ventures over the years from plastic to scratch build and I have now embarked on a wooden ship model, Bluenose II. I've been watching some of the YouTube videos and find this is more complex than others that I've done. So I maybe asking a bunch of questions as I go. Thanks for letting me on your forum and I look forward to reading more about this hobby.

Welcome. This is a great site with friendly people. I got started with plastic models and switch to wood. Have never looked back even though some of the plastic kit of today with the photo etched items and turned cannon make some of them look intriguing.
