Hello there from NE Florida!

Your progress on your model looks very nice. Way better than the one I did. Good job , keep it up.

Welcome aboard from Massachusetts! I think you'll enjoy and learn a lot from the Model Expo series. I know I did. Life's too short to drink cheap wine or build cheap kits:).
That may be true but still having fun on my cheapy one with what im learning! Ha
Welcome aboard from Connecticut.

I agree with Allen and Doc Tom that the Model expo series is a great way to start. I did the same thing and was happy that I did. If you buy the first kit (the Dory) complete it and send a picture to them of you with the completed kit they will gove you full credit for the cost deducted from your next build. The instructions are very clear and explain a lot. In addition there are many build logs here on SOS you can see of building these kits to get even more advice!

Rob
I didnt realize they gave credit back on that one! Ill have to give it a whirl (just ordered ha).

Ill still work on my cheapy one as im using it to learn how to do rigging and such at this point.
