Hello

Does anyone know if there are kits available of the boats used in Swallows and Amazons?

I don't know of any kits, but the website below has a trove of information on the boats. Scratch-built models of these dinghies should be relatively easy to build at a large scale.

Remember that these are fictional boats so some latitude is permitted as to "accuracy." Fair winds!

As a follow up, this book has some excellent information on techniques for modeling small traditional craft that are similar in location and period to the boats in question. Most boats in the book are double-enders because of sea conditions on the Scottish coasts, but I've included pictures of a boat with a transom.
Fair winds!

If you live anywhere near Ipswich the Nancy Blackett’s mooring is at Woolverstone in the summer. At the moment she is wintering at Harry Kings yard in Pin Mill.

Robster,
I have just taken delivery of this kit, it is based on the Swallow, from Swallows and Amazons.
Look up Clyde Model Dockyard

I'll be doing a build thread soon
