HELP - What does “sharpening the keel” mean

Making Occre’s Brigantine Aurora. POF. Frames, deck, support struts are in and all square. I’m fairing the hull and the instructions say “false keel must be completely sharpened.” Never came across this before. Can someone please be so kind as to advise me what to do. Thank you.

Maybe it is a poor translation into English. What they really mean is shapen. As in to “shape” the keel to the correct shape.
