Hello my name is Joaquin and i'm a 16-year-old from North Carolina. I stumbled into the ship building rabbit-hole a few days ago and have been captivated ever since, I don't even have an interest in model ship building but I absolutely love reading the schematics and ship details that are posted on here, I'm looking into getting my own copy of "THE 74 GUN SHIP Pratical Treatise of Naval Art 1780" as a reward for my straight A report card because it seems like an entertaining and intriguing read. I have autism so I get waves of fixation like this and its nice to see such a nice community surrounding a hobby I would have otherwise labeled as "too niche" to garner this type of forum.

We have a lot of technical information here in our forum, so you will find a lot of sources and also links.
We understood, that you are interested in the french ship of the lines and their construction, the mentioned books are very informative and helpful, so I am crossing the fingers, that as early as possible you can get a copy of this series, especially Vol I, II and III (Vol. IV is more ship handling etc.)
