Hi, My names Dave. I have been building Plastic models ( intermittently ) for approx. 50 years. My main interest has been WW1 Aircraft, but i have been dabbling in classical model ships. Like the majority of similar minded ''basic'modellers, the rigging can be a bit off-putting. Being a member of this group forum i hope to learn from more experienced modelers and improve my skills

from my side a warm welcome here on board of our forum
we have a lot of specialists for rigging here, which are happy to help and assist

I have learned a lot since joining this excellent forum: tools, techniques, terminology, advice etc. Some aspects of rigging are a bit tedious (eg tying ratlines) but provide something to do with the hands while listening to music or radio broadcasts. The rigging instructions for the kits I have tried have been fairly clear so don't be daunted.
