Dear model makers, I´m new here, but now it´s time to show my interpretation of the kit. I prefer "original" painted surfaces. Many thanks to all the other kit builder for the good ideas to find detail solutions. The kit is very well engieered.

Hallo and a warm welcome here on board of our forum.
I am very happy, that you show us your interpretateion of the Alert - very interesting and very well build
Hope to see much more of your work

Thomas: yes, the cabin get the light grey color. Many examples shows it. I believe that a bright color reflect better the poor candle light.

Marten: yes, the Souvereign of the Seas. I start with an "easy" project. We work 6 years. I had support by a woodcarver and my friend Eddi. Now the model is in the exhibition of the Berlin technical museum. If you want next time more details.

absolutely wonderful work ! and being an old RC pilot, I appreciate the RC plane hanging from the ceiling and the full size wing in one of the pics of the Sovereign !
Both ships are stunning !

A very interesting interpretation and overall appearance
I like your model very much - Congratulations for finishing this great model....
and now? any new plans for projects?

Many thanks to all model makers. UWEK: Next projects: Last year died a friend of me. He was the best artist to create a wooden shipmodel with perfect surface. Now I finish his 6 best models. A huge rear part of the Hohenzollern Zweidecker from 1660 in 1:21 is the first one, a Wasa, a Kogge, a Patache and his Hulk. My (new) model is the 1:144 Olympic in Razzle Dazzle. The second picture shows my workshop; today are to much projects. Next year I will be finish the Hohenzollernmodel. The picture with details are from the HZM. Next time I show you more pictures in a new thread.
